Davenport Returns With Fresh Talent

It is time to introduce yet another returning team, Davenport University. Ranked as one of the best in Collegiate Rocket League teams this semester, Davenport is hoping to prove themselves in their second chance at this year’s invitational, after finishing second at last year's event.

Davenport will return to Windsor, Ontario with a new look squad for the event. Bolti, Exiled and Sxtn will be the core three, with second-year player Byra joining them as the substitute. It is a complete shift for this Davenport team, as Shayner has moved into the coaching role, developing a play style that will kickstart Davenport on their journey to becoming a top team. Head Coach Shayner believes that the addition of Bolti could be a large part of their potential success. Davenport is also looking forward to interacting with some familiar faces at the event on March 10th.

“Myself and my players have been competing with and against a ton of the players that will be attending the event for multiple years. It's always great to meet up and hangout because the opportunities to do that are slim” - Coach Shayyner on the event itself.

It is always hard to gauge essentially a brand new team on a stage such as this. But the confidence at Davenport still remains high. Can the Panthers be a dark horse at Saints x Colleague? Find out in just a few weeks time.
