Saints Esports continue global recruitment with 68 signees for 2024-25 season

The St. Clair Saints Varsity Esports program have announced 68 signees for the 2024-25 season, including students from Germany, Argentina, Mexico, Italy, Austria, India, the United Kingdom, Chile, Brazil and the United States.

Of the domestic recruits, 34 are from Windsor-Essex, 12 are from across Ontario, and 5 are from out of province. In total, the Saints Esports program provides extracurricular and work-integrated learning opportunities for 150 St. Clair College students.

The surge in recruitment comes from the addition several new esports teams including the VALORANT Game Changers team for marginalized genders and sports titles including EAFC, MLB, NHL, NBA2K and Madden

St. Clair Saints Varsity Esports fields teams in Overwatch, League of Legends, Call of Duty, VALORANT, Rocket League, Omega Strikers, Fortnite, iRacing, Counter Strike, Rainbow 6 Siege, Apex Legends, Super Smash Bros., Fighting Games, Sports Games and Teamfight Tactics.
